Wheel-Throwing Evening
1 Session
Wheel-throwing evening for adults in a small group (max. 4 participants).
I’ll guide you through creating your own cups, bowls, and small pieces on the pottery wheel; you focus entirely on throwing, I take care of trimming and glazing afterwards. No pressure, no need for perfection, just you, the clay, and a few quiet hours to make something that feels like yours.
The evening is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some experience who would like to keep practicing.
Schedule
This offer consists of a single fixed session. We meet for an intensive evening at the wheel (approx. 3-4 hours); you prepare and throw your pieces, choose your preferred glaze colours, and leave the rest to the studio.
After the session, I trim and glaze your work for you in three studio glazes.
You will usually finish around 4–5 pieces, which will be fired and ready for collection about two weeks after the evening.

things you might ask
How many pieces can I make?
You can create and glaze around 4–5 pieces during the course, depending on your pace and the size of the forms you choose. Each one will be fired and finished with your own glaze selection.
Do I need any previous experience?
No. The course is suitable for complete beginners as well as for anyone who’s already spent some time at the wheel and wants to keep practicing.
What should I wear?
Wear something that can get a little messy. Aprons are provided in the studio. Please also make sure your fingernails aren’t too long, as that can make working with clay more difficult.
What’s included in the course fee?
All materials, tools, glazes, and both firings are included. You’ll have everything you need to create and finish your pieces.
When will I receive all course details?
About a week before your workshop, you’ll receive an email with all the information you need.
not sure about a date yet?
If you’re not ready to commit to a specific date yet, you can purchase a voucher for the course instead. This way you stay flexible – the booking can easily be made later on the website using the voucher code.
