Workshop Booking

Wheel-throwing course for adults in a small group (max. 4 participants).

I’ll guide you through creating your own cups, bowls, and more on the pottery wheel—trimming and glazing included. No pressure, no need for perfection. Just you, the clay, and enough time for something to take shape that’s truly yours.

The course is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some experience who’d like to keep practicing.

Schedule

The course consists of three fixed sessions: On Monday, we start with an introduction and throwing on the wheel (approx. 4 hours). On Tuesday, we refine your pieces by trimming and shaping the details (approx. 2 hours). On Thursday of the following week, you’ll glaze your work using various techniques (approx. 2 hours).

During the course you’ll complete and glaze around 5–6 pieces, which you can take home afterwards. Your finished works will be ready for collection about one to two weeks after the final session.

things you might ask

How many pieces can I make?

You can create and glaze around 5–6 pieces during the course, depending on your pace and the size of the forms you choose. Each one will be fired and finished with your own glaze selection.

Do I need any previous experience?

No. The course is suitable for complete beginners as well as for anyone who’s already spent some time at the wheel and wants to keep practicing.

What should I wear?

Wear something that can get a little messy. Aprons are provided in the studio. Please also make sure your fingernails aren’t too long, as that can make working with clay more difficult.

What’s included in the course fee?

All materials, tools, glazes, and both firings are included. You’ll have everything you need to create and finish your pieces.

What if I miss a session?

The course runs as a fixed block of sessions. Missed classes unfortunately can’t be rescheduled or refunded.

When will I receive all course details?

About a week before your first session, you’ll receive an email with all the information you need.

Can I give the course as a gift?

Yes. You can purchase a digital or physical voucher that can be redeemed for any upcoming course.

not sure about a date yet?

If you’re not ready to commit to a specific date yet, you can purchase a voucher for the course instead. This way you stay flexible – the booking can easily be made later on the website using the voucher code.
